A campsite with a dynamic leisure centre just a 2-minute walk away
The La Ferté-Bernard leisure park is a 100-meter walk from the campsite. It’s a haven for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Situated on a magnificent stretch of water, it offers a wide choice of activities, including swimming, paddle-boarding, kayaking, fishing, a playground and much more.
The trails allow you to explore the surrounding countryside while enjoying a lush green setting. A picnic area is also available for convivial moments with family and friends. This 45-hectare leisure park is the ideal place to recharge your batteries and have fun, whatever the season. Water-based and land-based activities will delight young and old alike.

The La Ferté-Bernard leisure park is a veritable showcase of dynamism and pleasure, offering a multitude of activities to delight young and old alike. In the nautical field, it offers a refreshing swimming experience, authorized all year round (except for cyanobacteria) and supervised by lifeguards from July 5 to August 31. Water sports enthusiasts can enjoy canoeing, kayaking, sailing, pedal-boating, stand-up paddling and even sailing. Kayak trips on the river are also available, and are a must at La Ferté-Bernard.
On the land side, the leisure center offers a variety of activities to satisfy sports enthusiasts. Mountain bikes can be rented to explore the magnificent surrounding trails. BMX enthusiasts can have fun on a dedicated track. Budding sports enthusiasts can practice on the soccer or rugby pitch. For a more playful approach, there’s a mini-golf course, a roller-skating rink and an archery stand, as well as pedal cars for family-friendly rides around the lake.
Children can enjoy the many play areas and a lakeside beach for sunbathing or building sandcastles, before relaxing in the picnic area overlooking the lake. A snack bar/buvette offers food and drink close to the activities.
It’s also possible to fish on the shores of the lake or in the surrounding rivers (a fishing card is required).
Many of these activities are not open all year round, and some require reservations and/or are subject to age conditions and/or a minimum number of people (see below for more information).

If you have a sailboat, paddle or kayak, you can take it out on the water. Lifejackets are compulsory, and you must respect the navigation zone.
Dogs can swim outside the human bathing area and the boarding beach.
Courses for children during the school vacations
From July 7 to August 29, 2025, the leisure center is offering weeks of multi-activity courses (Monday to Friday) for children. These courses, which must be booked in advance, run from 2pm to 5pm Monday to Thursday and all day Friday, with a picnic lunch. 2 formulas are available: one for children aged 6 to 8. The other for children aged 9 and over. At least one nautical activity is on the program for each course. The “pass nautique” test is therefore required to take part in the courses (contact the leisure center for more information).
The course brochure, with prices, dates and activities, will be on line once the leisure center staff have finalized it (normally in April).
