Nestled in the heart of the Perche Sarthois region, Camping La Venise de l’Ouest is part of a dynamic region offering a wide range of activities. Whether you’re looking for sport, culture, nature outings or family relaxation, La Ferté-Bernard and the surrounding area have plenty to offer.

Our campsite has a playground and spring-loaded games for the little ones to enjoy.
Holidaymakers can enjoy a game of boules on the two pétanque courts and the ping-pong table, while the more adventurous can try their hand at Cornhole or Mölkky. An inflatable structure is available for children in July and August (at certain times, depending on the weather). Numerous activities are available at the La Ferté-Bernard leisure center, located 50 m from the campsite.

La Venise de l’Ouest campsite is located 50 meters from the lake of La Ferté Bernard with beach and leisure center.
Kayak, playground, mini-golf, soccer pitch, basketball, archery, ping-pong table, mountain bike, paddle, catamaran, pedalo, Rosalie ride, disc golf course… You won’t be bored! Please check with the leisure center or campsite to find out when the above-mentioned activities are open. Some activities are not open all year round.
In July and August, the lake beach is supervised every afternoon.
In short, the La Ferté Bernard leisure park will keep you busy with its activities, as well as relaxing you with its walks and beach.

If you’re not into sports and don’t care for the leisure center, don’t worry! La Ferté Bernard has much more to offer.
Come and discover the charms of the little Venice of the West with our electric boat tours, and let us take you gently through the city’s canals. Watch your head! Legend has it that Fertoise has more than 360 bridges and footbridges!
If you prefer to stay on terra firma, the little Fertois train will be delighted to take you on a guided tour of the town and its mysteries.
For children, the town has set up fun discovery trails around the medieval town to help them discover its heritage.
Don’t hesitate to lose yourself in the medieval streets of this thousand-year-old city. You’ll be charmed by the cobbled streets and half-timbered houses that bear witness to its rich historical heritage. Among its emblematic buildings is the Saint-Julien church, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture that attracts many visitors. Stroll along the town’s canals and stroll along one of the benches.
