Sleeping on a boat – an unusual experience ⚓️

Embark on a getaway like no other in La Ferté-Bernard, a town known as the Little Venice of the West! ⚓️

Welcome aboard this unusual houseboat moored by the river, in the heart of the La Venise de l’Ouest campsite. Here, you don't just come to sleep: you come to live an original experience, which is particularly brilliant with children!

The accommodation is designed for a maximum of 4 people and consists of a boat equipped for the night, accompanied by permanent accommodation right next door.

⚓️ On board the boat: 4 berths to fully experience the adventure and sleep in a truly extraordinary setting. An ideal experience for little sailors… and big ones!

🏠 Right next to the boat, a small supplementary accommodation offers extra comfort if needed. It includes:

a small sitting room with a TV,
a kitchen,
a bathroom with a WC,
a small bedroom.

In particular, this allows you to choose your own experience: sleeping on the boat to make the most of this unique experience, or staying in a room in the permanent accommodation if you prefer a more comfortable place to sleep (room for two people).
What you need to know before boarding: the boat is an unusual form of accommodation and its spaces are designed for people up to 1.80 m tall. If you are taller than this, sleeping arrangements and moving about on board may be less comfortable. The adjoining permanent accommodation therefore offers a more conventional sleeping arrangement. The accommodation sleeps a maximum of 4 people in total: this does not mean 4 people on the boat plus 2 in the adjoining accommodation. Sleeping arrangements can be divided between the two spaces according to your preferences and comfort requirements.

🌿 The terrace is a real living space – comfortable and pleasant for enjoying meals, playing, reading or simply spending time with the family. You can park your car alongside the boat for easy access to the accommodation.
